Without arguing his guilt it is true that the glove may well have been planted by the cop or agent who had a record of doing such a thing, possibly afraid that there was not enough evidence to convict him. I'm not sure what I would have done in that case, but I think I would have voted to acquit even knowing the evidence pointed to guilt.
