Tariff Transfer Scam

We are living through 1 of the largest financial scams in American history, if not the world. Walmart, the company that pays its workers so poorly that many, if not most, rely on federal welfare and public assistance programs, just received a $10.2 billion tariff refund check. Target and Apple each received $2 billion tariff refund checks. Nike and Ford each received $1 billion, and General Motors, Home Depot, and Amazon each received more than $500 million in tariff refund checks. This means these corporations made money hand over fist by charging us more while Trump’s tariffs were in place. Then, when nobody was looking, the government gave those same corporations even more taxpayer money because it implemented the illegal tariffs. These corporations profited twice while American taxpayers were left behind. Where are our reimbursement checks?

This is a direct wealth transfer from the 99% to the 1%. Tariffs were a scam to take your money and give it to major corporations. This is yet another reason why billionaires should not exist. People with this much excess wealth can corrupt and buy politicians so they’ll pass policies that benefit only the wealthy and their bottom line.
