Where is the block in the "cartoon" where they give Hunter a pass on the payments from Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs and compare that to the same FBI that gave the Bidens' a pass on that but undermined an legally elected president with an entirely fake Russia story? You have a hard narrative to sell unless you are depending on people who have a short attention span and only watch CNN. Who is your audience?

Shall we be real? The Hunter prosecution was forced on an unwilling DOJ who had tried every trick in the book to get him, firstly, immunity from prosecution of the most serious crimes and then such a ridiculously lenient plea deal that the Judge chucked it out and the DOJ tried to deny (in court!) that they ever made such an offer. They were dragged kicking and screaming into that prosecution by the House Committee and public shaming, not forgetting whistleblowers who blew the lid off the shenanigans. Hunter was prosecuted DESPITE the blatant and outrageous political prosecution of Trump and various of his cohorts, whom it has to be said were total shits but regardless of that they were still hounded and prosecuted for activities for which previous White House administrations had also done in the past with no comeback. Trump is an irredeemable figure whom is unsuitable for high office and shouldn’t be anywhere near the White House. That said, Biden and the Dems have opened the Pandora’s box now in their corrupt and desperate attempts at beating Trump by any means other than at the ballot box. Just like… hmmm what is it… oh! A Banana Republic.

DC uniparty threw the currupt freshman under the bus. That is just more proof that they protect their own and Menendez wasn't an insider yet.

Racket News has written extensively about all of these subjects subjects arguing that yes, they are in fact occurring, they reflect pretty disturbing trends in our politics, and investigating them is absolutely consistent in terms of how we talk and think about politics. Hell, Matt even put out an article on Biden senility published *today*, not to mention months of research into the other subjects referenced:

https://www.racket.news/p/we-called-it-karine-jean-pierre-blames

https://www.racket.news/p/welcome-to-the-third-world-f38

https://www.racket.news/p/a-sham-case-and-everyone-knows-it

So I'm a little bit confused about the Racket News editorial direction here - is this how Racket News is going to approach these topics (aiming for "consistency"), or is this about giving a platform to a democratic socialist who might disagree with the editorial bent from the rest of Racket News? Is Daniel supposed to be like the Ross Douthat or Jim Geraghty of Racket, coming at issues with a completely different mindset from Matt and other staff members?

Some clarification on Racket Cartoons and what exactly this means for how Racket plans to approach these topics going forward would actually be very interesting and help to clarify what this news company is (or thinks it is). Daniel's perspective is valuable - and we should all support free speech and heterodox viewpoints, and after all this is just a stupid fucking cartoon - but its message (that you should aim for "consistency", whatever that means, rather than just reporting straight facts) flies very boldly in the face of the rest of Racket.

I’m waiting for clever or accurate. (i’m not asking for both )

I’m about three or four cartoons in and I’m not figuring out if I’m part of the audience or not.

It's a 1 of 10 hit rate. For every one clever or accurate cartoon, the other nine are just marxist idiocy.
